Penza Oblast ( _ru. Пе́нзенская о́бласть, "Penzenskaya oblast") is a federal subject of Russia (an oblast). It is located in the Volga Federal District. The administrative center is Penza.

Area: 43,200 km²; population: 1,452,941 (as of the 2002 Census).
