Browns Plains is a suburb of Logan City, Queensland, Australia.

Description

Browns Plains is generally used as a name for it and the surrounding suburbs of Hillcrest, Greenbank, Park Ridge, Regents Park and Heritage Park. Browns Plains has been identified in the South East Queensland Regional Plan as an outer city regional centre. Browns Plains is generally perceived as a middle class suburb of Logan although crime has seen an increase with the population increase.Fact|date=February 2008 One notable aspect of Browns Plains is the Grand Plaza Shopping Centre, which opened to the community in 1994 and was extended some 13 years later.

Browns Plains is also a terminus for Brisbane City bus routes (140, 141, 150), making it an important transport hub, connecting Logan City and Brisbane City bus routes.
