Meanwhile, back at the ranch ... was a phrase frequently used by narrators of black & white American cowboy movies and TV shows of the 1940s and 1950s as a segue from one scene to another. "Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch…" is a pop/country album by Texas Lightning. It is made up of covers of pop songs, sung in a country style. The album was re-released on 3 March 2006 including the song "No No Never" from Texas Lightning's Eurovision entry. "No No Never" has music & lyrics written by Jane Comerford. "No No Never" was a huge hit all over Europe in 2006, even though it did not win in the Eurovision finals (many Europeans cried "foul" about the lopsided eastern bloc voting).Fact|date=October 2007

Golden Ranch

The album was re-released again a second time on 13 October 2006, titled "Meanwhile, Back At The Golden Ranch" and containing six new songs but removing "Walking After Midnight". Because of the new material, the CD-ROM bonus content was removed from the CD, but the album is available with a live DVD containing concert footage.
