nihongo|Kanda|苅田町|Kanda-machi is a town located in Miyako District, Fukuoka, Japan.

As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 35,407 and a density of 762.10 persons per km². The total area is 46.46 km².

Nishinippon Institute of Technology is located in the town.

Future merger

It is hoped that Kanda can be integrated with the nearby town of Kitakyushu, and the expected mutual benefits would be substantial. However, the Fukuoka prefecture is currently blocking this move.

Industry

The Nissan Motor Kyushu factory started operation in Kanda in 1975.
