Ashaval

Ashaval

Ashaval was the city which existed in place of Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat, India in the eleventh century. The city was ruled by a Bhil king who was overthrown by Karandev I, the Solanki ruler of Anhilwara (modern Patan). Karandev established a city called Karnavati in place of Ashaval.
