Kristiansand Katedralskole (the Cathedral School of Kristiansand), known in Latin as Schola Christiansandensis, is the most prestigious high school in Vest-Agder, Norway, as well as the oldest high school along the southern coast of Norway, founded in 1686. The first school was located in the center of the town, near the cathedral. Although it represents an old institution, Katta is a modern school, offering courses in general and business studies, as well as in health and care. It has an exclusive collection of paintings donated by former student, Reidar Wennesland, and some antique books.
