new = yesRyan Hudson is a
rugby league hooker who plays forHuddersfield Giants in the Super League. He is the brother of ex-"Coronation Street " and current "Wild at Heart" actressLucy-Jo Hudson . Ryan has now signed a four-year contract which will see him move toCastleford Tigers from 2009 to 2012.He formerly played for
Castleford Tigers ,Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and Great Britain and was set to play for theBradford Bulls in 2005 before being released for failing the substance test after taking in some pain-killers abroad which, unknowingly to him, contained the banned substance, stanozolol .He has represented both England and Great Britain. He also captained Yorkshire in the now defunct county of origin series.
He was suspended from the game for two years in early 2005 after failing the substance test, and the ban expired shortly before the start of the
Super League XII season (2008).As a youngster he played for amateur side Stanley Rangers, whom he later went on to coach. Whilst at the club his potential was obvious. He picked up several player of the year awards and is regarded as one of the clubs finest ever products.
Outside of Rugby League he has an endorsement deal with
