Bruce D. Clayton is a noted
forest fire andbiological control ecologist as well as being the author of several books of interest within thesurvivalist movement.Clayton received his
bachelor's degree inzoology andbotany fromUCLA in 1972, followed by hisdoctorate in ecology from theUniversity of Montana in 1978. He is a California state-certified instructor of radiological defense techniques and fallout shelter management.His 1980 book "Life After Doomsday" (
