- West India Quay
West India Quay is an area on the
Isle of Dogs in Docklands,London ,England . It is immediately to the north of theWest India Docks andCanary Wharf .The 200-year old warehouse at West India Quay was used to store imported goods from the West Indies, such as tea, sugar and rum. This is where the Quay gets its name from. The Warehouse is now a grade 1 listed building and houses a number of up market restaurants and bars.
The
SS Robin is moored in the Quay, and there is a DLR station.Museum in Docklands is also in West India Quay, inside one of the two remaining traditional brick warehouses in the West India Docks.1 West India Quay is a skyscraper partly occupied by aMarriott Hotel .
