The Manchester School of Technology (MST) is a school located at 530 South Porter Street, in Manchester, New Hampshire. The school is focused on real-life applications of programs of study, rather than just learning about these programs. There are 3 "blocks" in each school day, which each take up 100 minutes.

  • Two-year associate and technical programs
  • Apprenticeships and entry-level positions

Enrolling

  1. Check out the enrollment policy to make sure you're eligible.
  2. Tell your guidance counselor to schedule MST first. THIS IS IMPORTANT!
  3. Sign up at your home school during the course selection process.

Enrollment policy

(As of the 2006-2007 pamphlet)

  • A. Based on the year that you begin the program, the order of priority for selection of students is as follows:
  1. Returning second year students who successfully completed Year I and have the endorsement of the MST principal.
  2. New 11th graders (juniors).
  3. Returning students who have requested a different program.
  4. New 12th graders (seniors)
  5. New 10th graders (sophomores)
  • B. Over-enrolled programs will select students based upon:
  1. The priority list above.
  2. Current grade point average.
  3. Attendance.
  • C. A student who does not gain entry into his/her first choice will be:
  1. Placed on a "waiting list," and/or...
  2. Allowed a second choice when available, and/or...
  3. Notified to select alternative classes at the sending school, and/or...
  4. Admitted at the start of the second semester, when program openings become available.
  • D. The following programs have restrictions for enrollment:
  1. Residential Carpentry, Residential Electricity, Residential Plumbing & Hydronic Hearing, and Landscape / Horticulture
  2. First year cosmetology students must be 11th graders (juniors).
  • E. Exceptions to this policy may be made for students on a case by case basis.
