- Rapaille Partij
The Rapaille Partij was a Dutch
political party founded inAmsterdam in the 1920s. Its platform included freealcoholic beverages for citizens in Amsterdam, the abolition of compulsory voting, and free fishing and hunting in theVondelpark . The party won two seats on thecity council of Amsterdam in 1921, but the elected representatives rarely attended meetings. This caused the party to lose popularity, and it soon dissolved.References
