Government Hill in the Central ofHong Kong . Surrounding theGovernment House , the residence of formerGovernors of Hong Kong and presentChief Executive of Hong Kong , the road is a destination of various protests. Protests sometimes result intraffic congestion .The road is irregularly U-shaped and almost encircles the Government House. Starting from
Lower Albert Road , the road wind up the hills and turn near the buildingConsulate General of United States of America in Hong Kong. It means Garden Road,Kennedy Road andCotton Tree Drive .For upper part of the road, its north is covered by
Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens and ends in the junction withCaine Road ,Glenealy andArbuthnot Road near the headquarters ofCaritas Hong Kong .As it is part of early development of
Victoria City , some oldficus microcarpa are located beside the road.ee also
