Trident Entertainment is a Malaysian based media company specializing in distribution/production of recorded music encompassing primarily Jazz, World and Classical Music and is a major player in the Malaysian Music Scene.

Founded by reclusive businessman Prabhu Ganesh (b.July 14th, year unknown) known largely for his social work in implementing music education in rural areas, Trident privately held by the founder remains the only firm of its kind to bring grand-philharmonic style music production to ourdoor/live audiences in breathtaking acoustic and audiophile setting, the firm is said to own almost 24 of the legendary "L'Acoustic" Speakers which is widely regarded as groundbreaking.

The firm according to speculation dominates about 61% of all classical music released inMalaysia and is said to be expanding rapidly in India, an ongoing deal with the one of theWorld's largest producer of Classical music NAXOS puts it right on top with the major players Warner,Sony and Universal of the first mentioned Classical segment also being distributed by Trident.

Trident Entertainment, a privately owned firm is reportedly being dissolved into Trident Media Arts as part of a merger between its Music and Film divisions Rising Media P Ltd & Virgo 5.
