The Very Best of Kim Wilde is the repackaged version of compilation The Singles Collection 1981-1993 from 1993 with brand new cover art and slightly modified tracklist. It was the second compilation in discography of Kim Wilde. It contained her all 15 Top 20 hits from the UK and German charts, but in this version without a hit The Second Time. Kim recorded on this edition brand new song Loved, her first in six years - it replaced song In My Life. There are also remixes of her two hits: Kids in America and View from a Bridge. Without a promotion and even a video for the new song The Very Best of Kim Wilde was a commercial flop. Anyway, single Loved became a surprise Top 10 hit in Belgium and Top 20 hit in Finland.
