Operations

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines operates a fleet of five cruise ships to destinations in Europe, the Caribbean, Africa and Canada. In May 2006 Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines announced the purchase of a new vessel, "Norwegian Crown", from Norwegian Cruise Line. The ship was delivered to Fred. Olsen in November 2007, after which she will be drydocked and lengthened. She will be renamed "Balmoral" and is expected to enter service in early 2008.

In January 2008 it was reported that the company are considering ordering a newbuilding of unspecified dimensions from a Korean shipyard. Olsen's cruise operations.
