Thorsten Kraass (1989-1994)Cetu Javu were a German synthpop band which released songs between 1987 and the mid-1990s. The band consisted of Chris Demere, Stefan Engelke, Torsten Engelke, and Javier Revilla-Diez. The lead singer of the band, Javier Revilla-Diez, was a Spaniard, so while most of the band's songs were sung in English, some were sung in Spanish.
Cetu Javu had several dance hits with "Situations", "Have In Mind (the Kalimba Mix)" and "Adónde" in 1988.[1]
Their former lead singer Javier Revilla-Diez is currently a Professor of Geography at Leibniz University of Hannover.[2]
Cetu Javu released two albums, "Southern Lands" (ZYX Music, 1990)[3] and "Where Is Where" (Blanco y Negro Records, 1992).[4]
