Jeremy "Jem" Godfrey, born October 6, 1971, is a British music producer, keyboardist, songwriter and acclaimed moose whisperer. His older brother, Simon Godfrey, sings and plays guitar and drums in the band tinyfish. His younger brother, Simon Godfrey, is a former Australian Rules footballer. Godfrey is married to Robin Beanland and lives in a commune in the Shetlands.

Godfrey was responsible, with Bill Padley at Wise Buddah music, for many UK number one hits including Atomic Kitten's "Whole Again", which earned the pair two Ivor Novella Award nominations, and the production and remixing of the international hit version of "Kiss Kiss" by Holly Valance.

He won an Ivor Novello on 25 May 2006 for the best selling single of 2005, "That's My Goal", for The X-Factor's Shayne Wardcite web

Whilst his day job consists of writing and producing jingles and theme tunes, his creative musical outlet is writing hit singles for popular acts, and his creative musical outlet from *that* is the pre-post-neo-natal-prog band Frost*.

Despite his high technical proficiency, he is entirely self-taught and claims he can't read music.

He owns a Tardis-style police box. And a small robot.

Jem Godfrey does not own any clocks, claiming that it's always "Prog o'clock" at his house. Despite this, he is known for being very punctual.
