- Baroque Hoedown
Baroque Hoedown was created by early synthesizer pioneers (and frequent collaborators)
Jean-Jacques Perrey andGershon Kingsley (Perrey-Kingsley). The composition was once described as being a "harpsichord gone country". It is the theme song for Disney'sMain Street Electrical Parade and the originalElectrical Water Pageant theme song. It was also incorporated into and intoLight Magic and "Remember... Dreams Come True " as a tribute to the "Main Street Electrical Parade".Cquotetxt|In the 1970s, Walt Disney Productions chose this tune to be the theme for the Electrical Parade. It was extraordinary, I didn't know about it because the publishers said nothing to me. It was by chance, in 1980, that I went there and was so surprised to hear Baroque Hoedown arranged for a full orchestra.|Jean-Jacques Perrey, text from English subtitlecite video |people=Perrey |date2= |month2= |year2=2005|title=Explore the Magic|url= |format=From One Lightbulb To Another bonus documentary|medium=DVD|publisher=
