Destroy the Opposition is the third album by Maryland death metal band Dying Fetus. This album marks a change in DF's direction, where the political themes become dominant, which has continued in all of their albums from this point on.

In the 2004 book "Choosing Death," by Albert Mudrian, Destroy the Opposition was cited as one of the most important albums released in the year 2000.

DF formed Blunt Force Records in 2000 as well.
