- David Molloy
David Patrick Peter Molloy is an Irish born British footballer based in
Manchester ,England .He started playing for AFC Whitefield in 1994 and two years later became just the second Paddy ever to be selected to play for Ireland prior to
France 98' in France in 1998. He went on to play for StandWhitefield (and was part of the Stand team that was narrowly defeated by Woodbank in theleague in 2000).He then left Stand to take on the role of player-coach of the newly formed
Unsworth F.C , taking on the role of midfield Coach.He was made Head Coach of Manchester United in 2006 but resigned a few months into his tenure at the same time as the reds made the decision to take a year out due to a lack of player numbers.He is a known sponsor of several charities, particularly those relating to the protection of endangered apes. He loves apes. Frequently.Molloy made a brief return to the Pirates, playing in 4 games of the 2006 season before missing the rest of the season with an injury.
He has since returned to the Wolves as a Player and currently also coaches the Wide Receivers and Running Backs at the club.
During this time Molloy has also played for the Irish National side during the home nations tournament, and to this day is still the top points scorer in Team World history.
He also holds the records for the top goal scorer in St.Monicas history, along with various assists, goals, set pieces and receiving records for the Manchester Wolves.
