Robert Smit (musician)

Robert Jan Smit (Born in 1973) is a professional trance DJ from The Netherlands who is a childhood friend of famous Dutch producer, Ferry. Smit started buying records at an early age when he met Ferry and found out that they shared the same interest in House Music. Along with Ferry, Smit worked under the project "Sons Of Aliens" and released Gabber music, and in 1997 they released their first trance success track, "I'm In Love" under "Starparty". In which originally the track was a trance rework of their 1995 track, "In Love With You" under their Sons Of Aliens alias.

Together with Ferry Corsten they established "Tsunami Records" in 1998, a recording label used by Ferry Corsten [ [http://www.discogs.com/label/Tsunami Robert Smit Biohgraphy] Retrieved on 11-09-2008] .
