long track speedskating organization located in the Duluth-Superior region. Members of the club, both novice and advanced, compete in long track speedskating competitions in various parts of theUnited States , including Roseville, Minnesota, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Salt Lake City, Utah, andButte, Montana . The current coach for novice skaters is Craig Frey and the current coach for advanced skaters is Andrey Zhuikov.The club has a hundred year history in the Duluth area and are currently located in the Chester Bowl Park area.The skaters practice on a 150-200 meter oval (depending on the season), half the size of a standard 400 meter long track oval. Despite the lack of facilities other clubs may have, DASC boasts skaters who medal at national competitions and even a skater who has moved on to the US National Team, Anna Ringsred.
