Evstafi class battleship

The "Evstafi"-class were pre-Dreadnought battleships of the Imperial Russian Navy. They served in the Black Sea Fleet and fought during World War I. They were slightly enlarged versins of the Potemkin, with increased armour and 4 extra8 inch guns. Some alterations were made as a result of experience in the Russo Japanese war delaying the completion of the two ships.

*"Evstafi" (Евстафий) - (Saint Eustace) - built in Nikolayev and launched on 3 November 1906. Fought in the Black Sea during World War I, captured by the Germans and subsequently the Allies in 1918/19. Wrecked by the Allies on their withdrawal from Russia, the remains were scrapped by the Soviets in 1922.
*"Ioann Zlatoust" (Иоанн Златоуст) - (Saint John Chrysostom) - built in Sevastopol and launched on 14 May 1906. Fought in the Black Sea during World War I, captured by the Germans and subsequently the Allies in 1918/19. Wrecked by the Allies on their withdrawal from Russia, the remains were scrapped by the Soviets in 1922.
