Dagzê is a village in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China, near Ganden Monastery, about 40 km east of Lhasa. [Buckley,Michael and Strauss, Robert. "Tibet: a travel survival kit", p. 150. (1986) Lonely Planet Publications, Victoria, Australia. ISBN 0-908066-88-1.] It lies at an altitude of 4,502 metres (14,773 feet) and has a population of about 495.
