Tipperary (Dáil Éireann constituency)

Tipperary is a former Irish parliamentary constituency which was represented in Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Irish parliament or Oireachtas from 1923–1948. It elected seven Teachtaí Dála (TDs) to the Dáil, using the using the Single Transferable Vote method of proportional representation (PR-STV).

The constituency was created under the Electoral Act 1923, and was first used at the 1923 general election, replacing the previous Tipperary Mid, North and South constituency.

Under the Electoral Amendment Act 1947, it was divided into two new constituencies: Tipperary South and Tipperary North. These new constituencies were first used for the 1948 general election
