"Vicious Delicious" is an album that was released on March 26, 2007 by psychedelic trance duo Infected Mushroom. [ [http://www.infected.co.il/futureCitySkin/news.php Official Infected Mushroom News Page] ] The cover art was done by David Ho who later made a similar artwork for Seether's Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces. The album was originally scheduled to be released on 6/6/06, but the release date was postponed because, according to posts by the band on their forum, promotion had not begun far enough in advance and the parties involved decided to delay the release. Initial [http://www.psyreviews.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=384&Itemid=46 reviews] of the album appear positive. Vicious Delicious has a somewhat different sound than that of other Infected Mushroom albums, pleasing some fans and alienating others. The track "Artillery" epitomizes this change in sound, being the only hip-hop track on the album.The rest of the album contains music that can be described as an electronic hybrid of trance, psychedelic, and rock. Track 4 "Heavyweight" is a nicely produced Heavy Metal track very inspired by Metallica with a Psytrance movement halfway through.

Limited Edition Copies

Along with the regular CD release, [http://shop.bne.co.il/index.php BNE] is also releasing a [http://shop.bne.co.il/product_info.php?products_id=878 "Limited Edition"] version of "Vicious Delicious" that comes in a special transparent plastic sleeve. The plastic sleeve's only artwork is that of the human heart held in the hands of the girl on the front of the CD. When the CD is taken out of the sleeve one can see the chest and ribs of the small girl. The regular version of the album just displays the heart in the girl's hands. Both editions of the CD are 14.90 USD on BNE's site. Additionally the Australian release was a standard jewel case showing the girls ribs with a cardboard slipcase over the top showing the full album art with the heart on a plate.
