Joy Press (born
1966 ) is a writer and editor. In the late 80s she wrote music criticism for American magazines and for the English weekly music paperMelody Maker . In 1996 she became the editor of the Village Voice's literary supplement, VLS. Press later became the chiefbook critic andTV critic for theVillage Voice .
