Øyvind Asbjørnsen

Øyvind Asbjørnsen is a Norwegian film producer and director. member of Directors Guild of Norway. He has made several documentaries and short films. His most notable work was The Prince of Chess, a 2005 documentary about 13-year-old chess prodigy Magnus Carlsen.

Øyvind Asbjørnsen has sometimes used the pseudonym Asa Von Doren in many of his films^{[citation needed]}.

He has also written a few screenplays. Since 2005 he has written several books. George the green boy [1] and Words of wisdom. Asbjørnsen founded Fritt Forlag in English: Free Publishing and is publisher-in-chief.
