Born in Mondol Seima district,Koh Kong province,Cambodia , Eh Phoutong currently lives inPhnom Penh .Originally trained by Chhit Sarim at the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces Boxing Club, Ei Phouthang now owns his own gym and boxing club, 7NG Ei Phouthang Boxing Club. Among his boxers is his younger brother Auth Phouthang.
