Bishop of theUnited Methodist Church , elected in 1969. Prior and subsequent to his election to theEpiscopacy he was a teacher at aseminary inBuenos Aires ,Argentina .Federico was elected Bishop at the final session of the
Latin America Central Conference of theU.M. Church . At that session this Central Conference dissolved, most of the churches andAnnual Conference s thereof joining autonomousMethodist churches in their respective nations. A fragment of the U.M. Church remained, represented by the work of this denomination inCosta Rica andPanama . Bishop Pagura was assigned to this work. However, shortly thereafter even these churches and conferences were folded intoUnited Churches in their respective nations.Bishop Pagura, therefore, remained a U.M. Bishop for a very brief time.
