Stuart Harris-Logan

Stuart Harris-Logan (often credited as 'Stuart A. Harris-Logan') is a celticist, folklorist and writer living in Scotland, UK [ [http://www.beul-aithris.co.uk Stuart Harris-Logan agus beul-aithris] ] . He is the author of two books, "Dancing With Ravens" (2005) and "Singing With Blackbirds" (2006) [ [http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/0954053168 Amazon.co.uk] ] . The former is an introduction to Gaelic folklore and interpretive dance; while the latter is an anthropological work on the origins and continuity of religious practices, focusing primarily on Celtic and Gaelic traditions.

Harris-Logan was raised in a family originating from the Scottish Western isle of Barra and in a culture firmly connected to the Gaelic oral tradition. He delivers seminars and has given talks on subjects including traditional folk healing practices; Gaelic bird imitations and chants; and Alexander Carmichael's Carmina Gadelica.
