Cathy Davey released her first album, entitled "
Something Ilk ", in 2004. It had mixed commercial success, though it did lead to a notable and diverse cult following. Her second album, entitled "Tales Of Silversleeve " was released onOctober 12 2007 ; recording a lot of it herself in her home and then finishing it withLiam Howe ofSneaker Pimps . This proved to be a very successful move as it led to aChoice Music Prize nomination for 2007 Irish Album of the Year.
