- Yunxiansaurus
"Yunxiansaurus" is the informal name given to an as-yet undescribed
genus ofdinosaur from theLate Cretaceous . It was asauropod which lived in what is now China. The suggested "type species ", "Yunxiansaurus hubei", was coined by Chinesepaleontologist Zhou in 2005. Thefossil s of "Yunxiansaurus" were found near the Nanyang Prefecture. The name appears in "The Dinosaur Egg Fossils in Nanyang, China", but as the dinosaur has never been formally described, it remains a "nomen nudum ".References
