Paul Michael Simm is a British
songwriter ,musician andmusic producer specialising in contemporaryR&B and pop music.Together with co-writers Jonathan Lipsey, Felix Howard and Cameron McVey, he has written and produced several hits for English girl group
Sugababes including Overload (UK no. 6) and Run for Cover (UK no. 13).In 2002, Lipsey, Howard, McVey and Simm were also awarded writing credits by
ASCAP for the song Make Over, which appears onChristina Aguilera 's multi-million selling album "Stripped". The track was originally listed as having been written by Aguilera andLinda Perry , but critics claimed that it had borrowed heavily from the Sugababes song Overload. He also co-wroteSiobhán Donaghy 's debut single ‘Overrated’ (UK no. 19) plus various tracks forNeneh Cherry , Patrice andEagle Eye Cherry . His other credits includeJC Chasez ofN*SYNC ‘Hot Section’ andLeon Jean-Marie ‘Bent Out of Shape’ and ‘Stay Right Here’.He has also produced albums for
Groove Armada ,Beth Hirsch and Flightcrank.In 2008 Simm has been involved with
Ivyrise , a pop band fromLondon ,England . Simm produced their first single "Tips" which charted at #5 in the UK Indie Charts as well as producing the remainder of the album, due for release in early 2009.Simm is currently signed with
