They married in 2943 and had five children, includingThéoden andThéodwyn (mother ofÉomer andÉowyn ). Morwen means "dark lady" in Sindarin.Morwen was 17 years younger than her husband, so she was probably born in 2922. She was believed to be born in
Lossarnach . She was called "Steelsheen" because of her grace. Morwen appears to have died sometime before theWar of the Ring .References
