island in theDelarof Islands of theAleutian Islands ofAlaska . It is located between theTanaga Pass and theAmchitka Pass .The island is convert|9.7|km|mi in length and convert|8|km|mi wide. Its land area is convert|67.2297|km2, making Gareloi the largest island in the Delarof group.
Mount Gareloi , astratovolcano , is situated in the center of the island which reaches a height of convert|1573|m|ft. On the other side of a small saddle lies another peak of the island however it does not equal the height of Mount Gareloi. The island is uninhabited.References
