- German conjugation
This is a paradigm of German
verb s, that is, a set of conjugation tables, for the modelregular verb s and for some of the most commonirregular verb s.The tables include only the active simple tenses. Perfect forms can be easily put together by using the appropriate tense of "haben" + Partizip II or "sein" + Partizip II. Passive tenses can be formed by "werden" + Partizip II (Passiv I) or "sein" + Partizip II (Passiv II)
The pronouns "ich, du, er, wir, ihr, sie" and "Sie" are used to symbolise the three persons and two numbers. Note that the subject, if specified, can easily be something other than these pronouns. For example, instead of "er", we can have "sie", "es" or a noun phrase. Instead of "wir" "ich und du", "er und ich" etc., or a noun phrase that includes the speaker. The same comments hold for "ihr" and "sie".
Regular -en verbs (Weak verbs) ("lieben", to love)
Irregular –en verbs (Strong verbs) ("fahren", to drive)
Modal verbs ("dürfen", may)
"haben" (to have, to form the Perfect)
