Radion Automatic

Radion Automatic (real name Edward Lawrence; born September 7, 1974 [Citation | title = Editorial | newspaper=Nintendo Magazine System | pages=7 | date =February 1993| issue=5] ) started out on UK multiformat videogame magazine "Mean Machines".

He was hired as a staff writer by editor Julian Rignall after contributing several comic strips to the magazine. Whilst writing for MM, he also contributed to Sinclair User (along with Tom Guise, Garth Sumpter, Steve Keen and Paul Davies of C&VG) until it was forced to close in 1993. After working on MM he continued to write for "NMS" and "Mean Machines Sega".

Ed later moved onto men's and music magazines, and wrote for "Select", "FHM" and "Jack". He is currently Music Editor at "Time Out" (London).
