Cho PD in Yongsan, Seoul, South Korea, on July 4, 2010Background information Birth name Cho Joong-hoon Born January 21, 1976 Origin South Korea Occupations Rapper, record producer Years active 1998–2010 Cho Joong-hoon (Hangul: 조중훈; born January 21, 1976), better known by his stage name Cho PD, is a South Korean hip hop record producer and rapper. In 2010 he announced his retirement.[1] But in 2011, Cho PD has made his comeback with his two-part album, State of the Art and Art of Business, featuring several prominent acts such as Verbal Jint, Outsider, dok2, Zico and Kyung of Block B, Hanhae of Phantom, Mino/Tagoon of B.o.M, e-sens and more. He has been promoting on music programs with his title track, "Family Man", featuring Block B's Lee Taeil. Currently, he is focusing on producing a brand new girl group named Evol, rumoured to be debuting sometime next year, and also Block B's comeback with their first studio album in early January.
