Autoeczematization

Autoeczematization

Autoeczematization (also called -id reaction) refers to eczema that is brought about by an infection with parasites, fungi, bacteria, or viruses.

The rash which characterizes autoeczematization occurs at a site distant from the infection causing it and will clear up when the underlying infection is treated.
