"Against the Wind" is a song by Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band. The song helped propel the 1980 album "Against the Wind" to number one on the Billboard 200. Other hits that helped made the album top the charts included"Fire Lake" (# 6), "You'll Accomp'ny Me" (# 14), and "The Horizontal Bop" (# 42). "Against the Wind" was the highest ranking of the singles coming in at # 5.
