Cultural society Kerestinec

Cultural society "Kerestinec" (Croatian: Kulturno umjetničko društvo "Kerestinec", short version: KUD Kerestinec) was founded as a part of "Seljačka sloga" society in 1932. In the first years, the society was working as a singing choir of amateurs, and in 1934., an amateur tambura orchestra was founded.[citation needed]

After World War II, the society bears name KUD "Bratstvo" Kerestinec, and in 1999. the society took today's name KUD "Kerestinec".[citation needed]

The society consists of folklore ensemble, children folklore ensemble, tambura orchestra, children tambura orchestra and men's singing group (Klapa). The ensemble is performing national dances and songs from Croatia.[citation needed]
