Field of Celebrant

Field of Celebrant

In J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional fantasy Middle-earth universe, the Field of Celebrant was the location of a fierce battle, which ultimately led to the foundation of the kingdom of Rohan.

The Field of Celebrant was a flat region of grass land, bordered in the east by the River Anduin, to the north by the wood of Lothlórien, to the south by the River Limlight and to the west by the Misty Mountains. It received its name from the river that ran through Lothlórien.
