Pfäffikon is a municipality in the canton of Zurich in Switzerland. It is the seat of the district of the same name. It is not to be confused with Pfäffikon SZ on Lake Zurich but in the canton of Schwyz.

Pfäffikon is situated in Zürcher Oberland southeast of the city of Zurich and near the Pfäffikersee. The surrounding municipalities are Wetzikon, Bäretswil, Hittnau, Russikon, Fehraltorf, Seegräben und Uster.

The population of the municipality has grown dramatically in the 20th century.
