Peter Van Petegem (born January 18, 1970 in Brakel, Belgium) is a former elite professional road racing cyclist. Van Petegem last rode for the Quick Step-Innergetic squad in 2007 and resides in Horebeke. He was a specialist in the one-day Spring Classics, becoming one of only nine riders to ever win both the Ronde van Vlaanderen and Paris-Roubaix in the same season.

He announced his retirement in August 2007, and his last professional race was the GP Briek Schotte in Desselgem on September 11.
