Vienna Psychoanalytic Society

Vienna Psychoanalytic Society

Formerly the Psychological Wednesday Society. They commenced their meetings in Freud’s apartment in 1902. By 1908 the group adopted its new name and was the international psychoanalytic authority of the time.

The first president was Alfred Adler, who resigned in 1911.
