The Pakistan Human Development Fund (PHDF) is located in Islamabad, Pakistan. The main objective of the fund, is to consolidate efforts towards building human capabilities by supporting various programs and projects in the social sectors, for the improvement and enhancement of: education and literacy, primary health care, poverty reduction, the development of working skills and the improvement of social service delivery.
An independent Board of Founding Directors, comprised of distinguished Pakistanis, will manage the Fund. President Pervez Musharraf is patron-in-chief of the fund, which is chaired by Mr. Farrokh K. Captain.
