On 1 April 2008, a lawsuit was filed against Alex Lloyd for a share of Royalties from the song "Amazing". Musician Mark O'Keefe, from the Sydney based band "What's Next" has claimed that he and Alex penned the song together in a Sydney Pub in 1989, which both artists performed at. Alex has yet to respond to the allegations.
