The University of Northern Virginia or UNVA is a for-profit, accredited private undergraduate and graduate university located in Northern Virginia. Originally founded in 1988, the university currently has bachelors, Masters and doctoral degrees.
Locations
UNVA has three local Northern Virginia branches located in Centreville, Annandale, and in Manassas. UNVA also has campuses in London, England, Prague, Czech Republic, and Kyrenia (or Girne), Cyprus, and Hong Kong along with a number of agreements with other universities around the world.
Major curricula
Most UNVA students take courses leading to the master’s degree in business administration or in the computer sciences, and the UNVA has a wide range of curriculum in those fields.
In 2006 UNVA began its first doctoral degree program: the Doctor of Business Administration. Overall, UNVA currently has nine approved academic programs.
