Hurley Haywood (born
May 4 ,1948 inChicago ) is an American race-car driver who won the24 Hours of Le Mans in 1977 (Porsche 936 ), 1983 (Porsche 956 ) and 1994 (Dauer-Porsche 962 ) and is the most winning driver at the24 Hours of Daytona with 5 (1973, 1975, 1977, 1979, and 1991) [http://www.porschedriving.com/instructors/haywood.htm Porsche Sport Driving School Instructor Profile] ] . He also drove in the 1980Indianapolis 500 finishing 18th. He also represented IMSA four times in theInternational Race of Champions (1986, 1989, 1992, 1995). By the time he returned from his tour of duty, he returned to his winning ways with his first IMSA GT title in 1971.After
